asked questions about soccer
1. What does it cost to register?
Registration costs $65 per player with a $5 discount
for each additional child in the same family. Make all checks payable to Tuttle
Youth Soccer Club or TYSC.
2. When does the season start?
The fall season usually starts the second Saturday after Labor Day and the spring season usually starts at the beginning of March. Each season is 9-10 weeks, with 8 games per team. Exact start dates may be subject to change.
3. Is my child old enough to play?
Children will be placed on teams according to the calendar year of their birth. A player must turn 4 during the calendar year of the Fall season. TYSC starts at U5.

Practices are typically once or twice per week with the younger children and twice per week with the older children. The club does not set schedules for practices. Practice locations and times will be held according to the coach’s schedule. Most coaches schedule practices on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
5. When and where are the games played?
Games are played at Wild Horse Park in
Mustang. The fields are just south of the Mustang Community Center. Games are
mostly played on Saturday with some games to be played on Sunday afternoons.
All schedules are written and controlled by our partner club, Mustang Youth
Soccer Association. Games between two Tuttle teams play will be played at the Tuttle Soccer Complex (1501 N Cemetery Rd, Tuttle, OK 73089)
6. What equipment do I need?
A ball, shin guards, and plenty of water.
Every player must wear shin guards at all practices and games. Ball sizes are:
U8 and below use size 3, U9-U12 use size 4, U14 and above use size 5.
7. What does the U in U6, U8, U10, etc. mean?
This is the players age, it means that the
player is “Under 6, 8, 10” as of January 1st prior to the season
played.
8. How many players per team?
U5/U6 play 4v4, U7/U8 play 4v4, U9/U10 play 7v7, U11/U12
play 9v9 and older teams play 11v11.
9. Where do we get uniforms?
Uniforms are the responsibility of the team.
There are many local shops and online retailers to choose from.
